Travel Writer
Hi, my name is Alex, I am Travel Writer and Travel Agent.
I’ve been a writer all my life in every sense of the word. Always scribbling something down in stacks of notebooks or worse scrappy bits of paper. Nowadays this has moved on with technology to websites and social media.
Travel is my passion that I write about on this site. I also write about other areas of expertise including film, creative pursuits and makeup for which I studied in college. Blame ADHD perhaps for a wide range of interests and knowledge.
Love of travel
My love of travel was founded at an early age exploring the world with my parents. But it was also compounded by a desire to escape real life. Suffering with a chronic illness travelling, and thinking about travel, gives me a chance to escape a limiting everyday experience. This is why I love being a Travel Writer, the research before, the immersion and then afterwards being able to reminisce.
