Yoo-hoo! Today’s look is inspired by the legend that is Minnie Mouse

What is bounding?

Disney Bounding or just Bounding is the ‘art’ of peicing together an outfit that resembles a character. Not a ‘costume’ of a character.

Character Looks

In my ‘Character Looks’ I have meshed Bounding with my Tshirt collection as well as my makeup skills.

Minnie Mouse Character Look

Minnie Mouse is Mickey’s forever girlfriend/fiance/wife (depending on what merch you are looking at!). Introduced in 1928, she has remained a steadfast central character ever since. Minnie’s spotted bow is almost as iconic as her mouse ears and she is loved the world over. She received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018. Minnie is seen as fashion icon in her own right-after all Minnie ‘rocks the dots’.

So to pay homage to my favourite mouse I created this Minnie mouse-inspired look.

Minnie Mouse-The Clothes

The outfit features a stylish ensemble of a vintage spotted skirt paired with a T-shirt from Red Nose Day 2019.

I think this black and white look with hint of red really reflects Minnie’s fashion credentials.

Minnie Mouse-The Makeup

For the makeup, I created a high-fashion look with a twist. For more information on how to create check out my make-up blog. I also featured classic Minnie and Mickey colours in my Disney Manicure!

Minnie Mouse-The Ears!

For my ears headband I took two mini tsum tsums and hot glued them (burning my thumb in the process! doh!) and glued them to a black velvet headband. To learn how to make your own be sure to check out this post here on my other blog.
