What to pack in your Disney day bag

A Disney day bag-a perfect holiday present

A Disney day bag contains everything you need for a day at the parks. These make a great gift before a trip.

What to pack in your Disney day bag

What to pack in your bag for Walt Disney World is very important. A range of things can come in very handy and its always important to be prepared.

To this effect, before our last trip, I decided to make a “Disney Park” kit as present for both my husband and my Mum for Christmas. A new Disney Day bag containing everything they would need to pack in it. Planning a Disney trip is time-consuming and expensive but by giving it as a gift I was able to get everything they needed!

Disney day bag

To start you need something to hold your kit of goodies. This is where the bag itself comes

  • A Disney themed bag-for my partner I got a BB8 Loungefly (the larger soft fabric style) rucksack as he will be carrying everything for us and for my mum I got an over the shoulder bag with a small illustration of Mickey which could be used as hand luggage etc. (I got myself a rucksack too-Chip the teacup from Primark)

What to pack inside

To take to the Disney Parks

  • A fun Disney purse
  • A tube of American change ready for pressed coins (a lot of these machines now take card so coins arent too needed)
  • A portable power bank for on-the-go charging
  • Tupperware and ziplock bags-handy for packing, putting sticky things in, protecting electricals from the elements, left over food etc
  • A clear wash bag…
  • With minis including suncream, lip balm, alcohol gel, wipes, tissues, plasters and insect repellant-all of which are useful for a day in the parks.
  • A thin raincoat for Florida showers
  • A chunky metallic Sharpie and book for Autographs
  • Filter water bottles which I personalised with Sharpies. I went for a filter as we are English a. the weather will feel so much hotter and b. the water will taste so much worse
  • A pin each for pin trading/fun
  • I also love the Mouse for Less guides so I printed out some of those too!

Key extras

I also included these holiday essentials

  • A strong phone charging wire
  • A USB to American wall plug (so everyone can charge up at night with no arguments about whose turn it is!)
  • A mini tsum tsum-the perfect travel buddy, partner had BB8, Mum had Thor
  • Stickers and transfers to decorate the magic bands once there (if coming from the UK you used to collect them at the hotel on arrival)
  • A small microfibre towel which is easy to pack and dries fast
  • Mini detergent to wash clothes and cut down on packing (more space for souvenirs!)
  • Plus an eye mask and sweeties for the flight!

What do you pack in your Disney bag that I haven’t mentioned here? What would essential did you wish everyone had with them on your last trip? Share with us in the comments!

I love to travel and pick up a tshirt from every magic location I visit! Suffering from a chronic illness travel isn't always too accessible but when I travel I always look for travel with extra magic!
